Ahya partners with BAT to enhance net-zero transformation

BAT to deploy AhyaOS - Enterprise to drive accurate emissions management and decarbonization.

Karachi, Pakistan — June 26, 2025 — Ahya Technologies (Ahya), a regional leader in AI-powered climate software, is proud to announce its partnership with British American Tobacco (BAT). This collaboration is set to bolster BAT's decarbonization initiatives by leveraging artificial intelligence for advanced emissions measurement, analysis, reduction, and reporting.

BAT's ambitious sustainability initiatives include a commitment to a 50% reduction in Scope 1 & 2 emissions by 2030, the utilization of 100% renewable electricity at operational sites by 2030, and a 50% absolute reduction in Scope 3 emissions, which constitute the majority of its climate impact.

As part of the partnership, BAT will implement AhyaOS, Ahya's carbon management and accounting platform (CMAP), to gain real-time data visibility and decision-making capabilities across greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. AhyaOS will help BAT align with international disclosure standards such as GRI and IFRS, while driving measurable progress toward its SBTi commitment.

Together, Ahya and BAT aim to redefine what industrial climate action looks like in Pakistan and the MENAP region—merging operational excellence with digital innovation to accelerate meaningful, measurable sustainability.
